Hi there, I’m Tom, a GP Trainee, and a writer and editor for SimpleMed. I have been involved with SimpleMed since second year of university and worked on the Haematology, Integrative and OSCE Videos sections of the website.

I chose GP training because I value broad clinical practice and continuity of care. I’m particularly enthralled at the idea of combining medicine with travel and so would love to explore the world of expedition medicine and repatriation work later in my career.

Throughout medical school I received a scholarship from Medic Mentor, leading and coordinating the organisations blog team, spend my free time playing sports, socialising and enjoying University life.
